You can return to this checklist

The dashboard keeps the same setup tasks available until your organization has completed them or dismissed the checklist.

Understand the dashboard

The dashboard is a period-based overview of business health and work that may need attention.

  • Headline cards show Total Sales, Total Invoices, Net Profit, and Total Customers.
  • Cash Flow and Expenses charts summarize the selected reporting period.
  • Appointments, priority tasks, and to-dos keep current work visible.
  • Pinned apps provide shortcuts to destinations you use frequently.

Empty panels are expected on a new workspace

Dashboard values come from your organization's records. Add customers, invoices, transactions, expenses, appointments, and tasks before expecting every panel to contain data.

Access and permissions

Navigation and actions are tailored to the permissions assigned to your role.

A missing page may be a permission issue

The sidebar, mobile navigation, Settings directory, and Create menu hide destinations your role cannot use. Ask an organization administrator to review your access when a page or action described here is not visible.
